Unit Two Post
My experience with the Journey On Relaxation was pretty positive. I have noticed that when I am trying to relax that noises or distractions are felt more deeply than normal. For example I remember something happening that startled me and I felt what must have been my bodies initial reaction signal that can lead to fight or flight if a threat is detected, it felt like a chemical stab in my chest. Other than that I found the exercise to work at relaxation. I was very amused and happy when I found my arms too heavy to lift when I got to that part of the exercise. I came out of it early though because my eye was bothering me. I really need to get my husband into these exercises. He has actually said he needs help with relaxing and these quick relaxation exercises would probably be really beneficial to both of us, but probably more to him (I am healthier). Finding the time and quiet is always the clincher. I hope the rest of you had a good experience with these. I'm glad the stress class and this one has introduced me to these.
